Leaders Who Brunch

It can be tough at the top, I know. That’s why I created the Leaders Who Brunch Café, a drop-in space for purpose-driven leaders to get support and encouragement from their peers in a warm, non-judgemental, energising environment, both in-person and virtually.

We’ve created a really special community so far and I’d love to share it with you. Book below.

In-person Leaders Who Brunch

Friday 9 December

8.45 – 10.30 AM

Theme: A Celebratory Festive get-together

Leaders Who Brunch is back in-person for a special celebratory gathering.
Join me and other non-profit leaders to reflect on 2022 in a joyful, warm-hearted environment. It’s a chance to make new connections if you’ve never been before, meet other brunchers you may have only met online and start a chilly winter day with a boost of warm, positive energy.
For this meet-up, we’ll have a little longer than usual in small groups for extra catching up, advice hot spots, informal chats and peer coaching on any issue you want to bring. You can ask for help, give it, or just listen – all are welcome.

We meet in central london at The Abbey CentrE CAFE, westminster

Arrive from 8.45am for brunch and informal chat. We start officially at 9.10am.
£15.00 (including brunch)
Please book by Tuesday 6 December so that we can make sure there’s enough delicious brunch to go around.

The link should take you to the payment page – if that doesn’t happen, please drop a quick note to Megan megan@katieduckworth.com and she’ll sort it out.

Who is Leaders Who Brunch for?

It’s for CEOs and directors in your senior leadership team, ‘Heads of’, team leaders, aspiring & future leaders, trustees and chairs. The café is a safe, reassuring space for all leaders who are passionate about making a positive difference in the world and who know they need community to thrive. This is an open community, warmly welcoming first timers at every meet-up.

What will you get out of it?

  • Warm connection with peers who know exactly what it’s like for you as a non-profit leader (but who aren’t necessarily your own colleagues)
  • Highly useable and practical skills, tools and techniques to help you in your role
  • An opportunity to sound off, be heard and get fresh perspectives
  • A chance to hear how other leaders lead in their organisations
  • Rare breathing space for you to get out of your head, reflect and resource yourself.

We kick off each meet-up with a short, workshop-style session on an essential leadership topic such as enabling inclusivity or giving difficult feedback. Then you get to support each other with advice hot spots, informal chats and peer coaching on the individual challenges you or your peers bring along.

Can’t make that date?

If you can’t make the next event, add your details here. I’ll email you when booking opens for the next one.

What leaders say about Leaders Who Brunch

“I absolutely loved it! It was great to “be in a room” with other people facing similar challenges. Useful information, shared experiences and, thanks to Katie’s friendly facilitation, an injection of (much-needed) energy.”

Rachel Key, CEO, LifeSpace Trust

“Leading in an organisation can be a lonely experience. Leaders Who Brunch is a safe space to let off steam, hear stories from others and find sounding boards. It’s also a quiet and focused time to reflect and consider, to take stock, and find some shared wisdom.”

Anne Danks, Head of Business Operations, Insight & Digital, Christian Aid
